Billing via Stripe — simple, secure, in your currency.

How billing works

You’ll receive a Stripe invoice at each agreed stage — not a single upfront charge and not via a separate portal login. Open the secure link, review the line items, pay with your card, and download the PDF for your accounts.

• Discovery, build stages, and any retainer or care plan appear as separate line items, so you can see what each stage covers.
• One-off projects are usually invoiced by stage as agreed in your proposal.
• Ongoing work — like maintenance or a care plan — is only billed after you’ve approved the schedule (usually monthly).

Need a different arrangement? Let us know before we invoice and we’ll confirm in writing what’s possible.

Currency choice

Our base currency is US dollars — it keeps pricing consistent worldwide. Prefer a local currency? Just tell us before the invoice is issued:

• USD — default. No conversion.
• NZD · AUD · CAD · GBP — total shown in your currency at the Stripe FX rate at invoice time.

You can choose per invoice — USD this time, local currency next time — whichever is easier for your accounts. Taxes, if applicable, appear in the same currency as the total.

Taxes

Tax is shown as a separate line on your Stripe invoice. Your invoice will state the exact amount — you don’t need to guess which rule applied:

• New Zealand — GST (15%) where applicable.
• Australia — GST (10%) where applicable.
• Canada — GST/HST by province where applicable.
• United Kingdom — VAT (20%) where applicable.
• United States — sales tax where applicable; we keep the line clear about what’s taxable.

Where Stripe Tax is enabled for your invoice, rates calculate automatically. Otherwise we add tax based on your billing address at invoice time. If you’re tax-exempt, send the documentation before we invoice so we can reflect it correctly.

Payment methods

The fastest way to confirm payment is by card:

• Card (recommended): Visa, Mastercard, American Express — with 3D Secure (Verified by Visa / Mastercard Identity Check) when your bank asks for it. Instant Stripe receipt.
• Bank transfer / ACH: Available on request for larger invoices where your policy requires it. Settlement takes longer, so please ask before we invoice.

We never ask for card details by email or phone — the Stripe link is the only place to enter payment details.

Receipts, failed payments, and due dates

After you pay, Stripe emails your receipt and the same hosted link lets you re-download the PDF any time. If a card fails (expired, 3D Secure not completed), Stripe prompts you to try again — nothing is taken until the payment succeeds.

• Invoices are due on receipt unless your proposal says otherwise (for example, NET 7).
• If something’s overdue we’ll nudge you first — we never pause work without a conversation.
• Question about a charge? Tell us the invoice number and we’ll review it with you before any re-bill.

Security

Billing is processed by Stripe — a certified PCI Service Provider used by millions of businesses worldwide. All payment pages use HTTPS with encryption in transit. AXOmega doesn’t store full card numbers, expiry dates, or CVCs; Stripe retains payment data under its own controls and we keep only the Stripe invoice reference and last four digits where needed for reconciliation.
